Dean Einstein and Dalton Goodier, Assistant Director of Admission – First-year, discussed application tips and answered hundreds of questions in a Facebook Live session. They offered insight on what makes an applicant stand out, when students can expect to receive a decision and how we review applications. Watch the video below and read our tips and timestamps to find the answers to your questions!

You have choices for when and how you apply!
TCU offers four applications and four deadline rounds for first-year admission. It's up to you to decide when you'd like to apply. Our first deadline for Early Decision I and Early Action is November 1 and students receive a decision by January 1. Our second deadline for Early Decision II and Regular Decision is February 1 and applicants receive a decision by April 1. We accept four different applications for first-year admission and again, you get to choose which one works best for you.

Transfer students will use the TCU application, with the exception of nursing applicants, who will use the Nursing CAS application. For domestic students, our spring transfer deadline is November 1 and fall transfer deadline is June 1. Get more info on transfer applications and deadlines here.

Take a deep breath!
College search and applications can be a stressful and exciting time for students and their families. This may be one of the biggest decisions of your life so far and it's easy to get overwhelmed. That's why we're here to help. You can reach out to your TCU admission counselor, send us an email, plan a visit or check out virtual resources.

We review everyone's completed application.
We look for academically strong students who will succeed at TCU. That said, we review applicants holistically, meaning we consider you as a whole applicant, rather than focusing on any one factor of your application. TCU has no minimum requirement for GPA or test score to be considered for admission and we review every single completed application. View our first-year and transfer application checklists to learn what you'll need to submit for a completed application.
