Early Admission Masters Program
Three of our colleges offer early entry into master programs for our most driven students. Undergraduate applicants may indicate their intent to attend TCU for both bachelors and masters degrees and complete both in less time than the traditional route. Additionally, the Early Admission Masters Program offers incentives like waived graduate school exams and applications. Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW)
The Early Admission Masters Program allows students to complete a Bachelor of Social
Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in only 5 years (4 foundational
years focused on generalist social work practice, plus 1 concentration year focused
on advanced generalist social work practice, leading to two separate degrees). The
Bachelor of Social Work will be conferred in May prior to beginning the 5th year of
study in August.
As part of their financial-aid package, MSW students will receive a 40% tuition discount for the two semesters following conferment of their undergraduate degree.
Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT)
The MS Athletic Training (MSAT) 3 + 2 option allows students to complete a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree in combination with the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Movement Science) in only five years (three pre-professional years plus two professional years leading to two separate degrees). The bachelors degree will confer in year four and the masters degree will confer in year five. MSAT students will receive a 40% tuition discount for each semester in year five and may be eligible for additional scholarships.
Neeley School of Business
Masters of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)
Finish strong with a highly marketable degree that earns an average of $70k for a starting salary. Students admitted early to the Masters of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) receive waivers for the graduate application fee ($100) and masters commitment deposit ($1000), a waived GMAT/GRE requirement and will begin masters level coursework in the junior year. Any undergraduate field of study with a strong math background are a great fit for the MSBA (business major not required)!
College of Education
BS or BSE/MEd Curriculum and Instruction
The Early Admission Accelerated Masters Program allows students to complete a College of Education Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Youth Advocacy and Educational Studies or a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) and a Master of Education (MEd) in only 5 years. In this program, three years are of undergraduate studies only, a fourth year of coursework bridging to both an undergraduate and graduate degree, and a fifth year completing graduate studies.
College of Education pathways for Accelerated Masters programs include a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I). Concentration options for the C&I program include Language and Literacy, Curriculum Studies, Mathematics Education, and Science Education. Students may apply for a financial aid package that provides a Teaching Assistantship (TA) or Graduate Assistantship (GA).
BSE/MEd Special Education
The Early Admission Accelerated Masters Program allows students to complete a College of Education Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) and a Master of Education (MEd) in only 5 years. In this program, three years are of undergraduate studies only, a fourth year of coursework bridging to both an undergraduate and graduate degree, and a fifth year completing graduate studies.
