TCU’s test-optional admission policy has been extended through 2026. Students graduating high school can decide whether to submit results from the SAT or ACT as part of their TCU application, which opens on August 1.
"Test-optional admission supports our mission to review each applicant holistically,
looking beyond test scores at what students have achieved in their schools and communities,"
said Vice Provost of Enrollment Management, Heath Einstein.
TCU has admitted thousands of applicants and issued millions of scholarship dollars
to students without test scores. Nearly half of Horned Frogs who enroll at the university
did not use their test scores for admission.
And under TCU's “Do No Harm” policy, there is no downside to submitting test scores. This policy applies to both admission and scholarship. We also superscore, meaning we'll consider your highest section scores across multiple sittings or test dates.
