I Think TCU Is a Great University Because: TCU is very intentional about everything. From academic opportunities and social programming to campus architecture and game days, nothing at TCU happens without being carefully thought out and all of that provides an amazing college experience for students, in and out of the classroom.
Hobbies and Interests: NATURE!! Trail running, hiking, backpacking, fastpacking, snowshoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and campfires. Also, animals and books. I couldn’t imagine my life without these things.
Favorite Class in College: Oceanography – oddly not at all what I intended to study, but great professors can get you interested in anything, including tides and silt!
If You Visited My Office You’d See: A Diet Coke and my dogs. Diet Coke is my coffee and because I work from a home office in Northern California, my senior dogs are always napping (and snoring) nearby.
My Advice to You: Be true to yourself through your college admissions journey and wherever you end up attending (I hope that is at TCU) take full advantage of your time as a student to explore. There is not likely to be another time in your life where you have access to so much knowledge, diversity, and opportunity. Soak it all in, try new things, and grow!
